SHEDDING IS NATURAL!

Don't panic, shedding is totally natural! How we show our love to our new woolly friend? Grab your vacuum 1-3 times a week, but keep it on a gentle and low setting to pamper those wool fibres. Wool doesn't cope with high abrasion, so keep those brush head vacuum heads at bay and just suction the excess fibres and dirt off.
Gently dab, that's right dab! Water is best, using a fresh colourless cloth or paper towel ASAP. If needed, mix a couple of drops of mild detergent with water to create a diluted cleaning potion. Then gently dab the spot with your cloth or paper towel. Skip harsh cleaning solutions on the rug. No rubbing to avoid spreading the stain and work the dabbing from out to into the centre of the mark! Again, abrasion on this rug is not advised to avoid it becoming shabby looking in one area. TO remove the moisture from the spot cleaning, place a piece of paper towel on top of the area you have just cleaned and put a small weight on top like a book, not your favourite one, and this will draw any unwanted moisture out of the rug into the paper towel to precent damage from a wet spot.
To keep your rug looking fresh, seek out a specialist who really knows their stuff! Trusting DIY tricks could end up leaving you in a rug predicament - not ideal after splurging on a gorgeous piece that deserves more love.
A good non-slip product or underlay under your wool rug is key! It prevents dirt from sneaking underneath and stops your rug from slipping and changing shape!

Hey there, keep in mind this guide is just a general overview, and no two rugs are the same! Depending on how your wool rug is made, you might have to give it special treatment. There are so many different weaves on the market now, cut pile, loop pile, bobbles and more that some weaves may need more of a tailored method. We are here to help you through the process so contact our customer service team. What we don't know we will try and find out.
