Earlier this year in February, The Block Shop Melbourne opened its doors to their pop up shop. Located directly across the road from this years renovation location at The Gatwick in Fitzroy St, St Kilda, it was a fitting place for many of the contestants to purchase items for styling. The Grand Opening was attended by a host of ex-contestants, including Elyse (last year’s winner), Julia and Sasha (The Block 2016), Deanne Jolly (The Block Glasshouse) and Dani Wales (All Stars, Dorcas Street). Joining them were Scotty, Shelley and this year’s crop of Blockheads.

Rug Addiction has been a Block Shop supplier of Area Rugs now for a couple of years, starting back when Reno Rumble held their Grand Final renovation in Bendigo and our rugs were purchased to be used by John and Lisa for their Hall, Lounge and bedroom reveals. Since this time we have been fortunate enough to have rugs as seen on The Block | Port Melbourne 2016, as seen on The Block | Elsternwick 2017, and finally we can also announce as supplied to The Block | Gatwick 2018.
The Block Shop operates nationally online www.theblockshop.com.au and now for those of us who prefer to see and touch what we are buying Pop Up Shops in two locations.
