One of our exciting projects is The Block. Each year we spend much time with the contestants discussing a new room every week and how to achieve the winning look with the judges.

As they start to film this years build as I am sure many would have seen on social media by now is in Cowes, Phillip Island, our team reflects on last years designs by contestants to awaiting this years group of inspirational teams and their styling desires.

The team at Rug Addiction always get excited at this time of year, when new collections are being introduced by our suppliers into their ranges for us to choose from and this year is no exception.

Adore is a stunning 100% jute rag, that is a thick plush cut-pile weave in contemporary hues with fringe. 

We have not seen a plush pile jute made rug around for a while now, but from previous experience of selling these products that wear so well.

This collection has been collated with the trending colours of today in mind and by working closely with the manufacturers ensuring quality control is met.

We are featuring this week, Steph & Gian's revealed  main Bathroom and their redo Bathroom and what calming spaces they created for some special person to enjoy.

Keeping with their very back to nature, textural Japandi Sway styling from the rest of their home so far, Steph really put a lot of thought into the architectural balance and styling of the rooms.

There were some exciting reveals this week but my again I agree with the Judges and call it as a win for Steph & Gian. 

It was interesting to see each interpretations of a kids bedroom with so many great ideas that I am sure some of you may use in the future when designing something special for your little ones.

After 6 seasons of being a supplier of rugs into The Block you would think that we would have a fair idea of what the contestants will need, but no! 

New Contestants, with new ideas and inspirations while located in Hampton East, back into metro with large but not oversized residential homes.

There are times in our life when we just don't know and can't work out what is the best way to get that decorated perfection like the pro's do it.
